Project LifeServe: Special Needs Children

We gathered at Yad HaShemona, on the hills of Jerusalem, for a Project LifeServe conference for Messianic Jewish families of special needs young adults. Together with the families, our group of Messianic Jewish volunteers provided hands on ministry to the young adult special needs believers. This included a music workshop (see photo), an art workshop for the special needs youth who “created” beautiful artistic framed mosaic mirrors that they were able to take home as gifts (See photo). During the time that the youth were involved in their various activities, their parents were able to relax and engage in sessions which included: discussing an in-depth survey about future possibilities for respite and living possibilities; each family was able to “tell their story” and then receive focused prayer time. This was a very powerful and meaningful time of ministry and the Lord’s presence was very strong on behalf of each family to give them new hope and encouragement.

We also gathered on Shabbat morning to worship together (see photo). We have great hope and vision for the development of this ministry and the enhancement of the precious lives of our Messianic Jewish special needs family members. We also have the vision to continue to encourage each other as we build community together.
