A Miracle of Healing in the Hospital in Ashdod
June 30, 2009“Every year many of our people from [the Messianic synagogue in Ashdod, Israel] have gone to Bible School in Jerusalem. Every year it’s been a challenging task for many as it requires 9 months of commitment and dedication.
Although the sacrifice that the Bible School students make is great, the reward is always greater.
Such is the case with four of our sisters… who are attending this year’s Bible School in Jerusalem.
One day, during a morning prayer the students were asked to pray for a 15 year old boy, a believer, who is lying in the hospital with terminal cancer, leukemia. It was said he needs transfusion of a rare blood type, and N__ found that she was compatible.
She felt the Lord urging her and the other three sisters to go to the hospital. When she tried to give blood, she was told they couldn’t take her blood due to low level of hemoglobin. But N__ was determined to go back in a few days after raising the hemoglobin level and give blood for the boy.
When the four of them returned to the hospital after a few days, and N___ gave blood, they went into the boy’s room to see him. The image of a lifeless boy in bed was unbearable, but they knew authority has been given to us, the believers. Yeshua said, when we lay our hands on the sick they WILL recover. So they prayed.
Their prayer was heard in the corridor and nurses as well as other patients gathered around the door to witness their prayer. After a few days when they came back to the hospital, the boy’s father greeted them with truly amazing news: the cancerous cells stopped reproducing and the healthy cell began multiplying and accelerating the recovery process! The doctors were amazed!
After less than two weeks later, the boy was released from the hospital. Since the doctors determined he was doing so well, there’s not reason to keep him in the hospital.
Needless to say, this won’t be the last time our sisters will be going to a hospital to pray for the sick! Hallelujah!”
